FAQ
Is SendPermit only for Gmail?
Yes for now. We’re focused on a single integration done well.
Do I need a new email address?
No. You keep your Gmail address and inbox; we add routing and labels.
Will this hide important mail?
We aim for clear holding rules and a fair path for legitimate senders (free verification). Beta software can misroute; report issues to support@sendpermit.com. We do not promise automatic detection of every OTP or verification email in early releases — check held mail if you’re expecting something critical.
Is this the same as Hey, Superhuman, or Shortwave?
No. Those products emphasize client experience, speed, or triage. SendPermit focuses on sender-side friction for unknown senders while you stay on Gmail.
Is this enterprise email security?
No. Enterprise gateways serve IT and org policy. SendPermit is for individuals who need relief from unsolicited volume.
What does the waitlist mean?
We’re onboarding in waves while Gmail access and deliverability are tuned. Joining the waitlist puts you in line for early access.
Planned pricing (not a commitment)
We expect a free tier with limits and a simple paid tier for heavier use. Final numbers ship with the product. We are not leading with enterprise plans on the consumer site.
Where is my data processed?
See the Privacy Policy for subprocessors and details as we publish them.
